AAHE (Air-to-Air Heat Exchangers)

This certification concerns air-to-air heat exchangers (heat recovery units) used in ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

It guarantees the thermal and airflow performance of the heat exchangers, such as rotary or plate-type recuperators.

However, a certification limited to the heat exchanger alone does not guarantee that the entire AHU will achieve the declared performance.

Furthermore, once integrated into the unit, the certified heat exchanger may experience reduced efficiency due to uncontrolled system effects.
